The lowest reported price for regular gas in Chambers County was $2.09 per gallon during the week ending Dec. 27, 2025, available at three gas stations, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.29 per gallon for regular gas.
GasBuddy reports show that regular gas was available at 15 of the 49 reported gas stations in Chambers County.
Across Texas, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas fell to $2.40, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
