Brian Babin, a United States Congressman representing Texas’ 36th district, has shared a series of tweets offering perspectives on current events. Babin, who replaced Steve Stockman in Congress in 2015, shared thoughts on topics ranging from a relaunch of a national resource center to Easter observances.
On April 19, Babin expressed enthusiasm about the relaunch of a website by former President Donald Trump. “GREAT NEWS! President Trump has relaunched https://t.co/SgzjAFvTW4 as a national resource center exposing the truth about the Wuhan lab origins of COVID,” he stated. Babin also mentioned the site’s content, which points to Dr. Fauci as being involved in a cover-up.
The following day, Babin commemorated Easter Sunday with a tweet about the significance of the day. “He is Risen! On this Easter Sunday, we rejoice in the victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death. Because He lives, we have hope!” Babin noted in the message shared on April 20.
On April 21, Babin criticized a shift in messaging during Easter, referencing President Joe Biden. “What a dramatic shift in Easter messages. Joe Biden pushed ‘Trans Day’ and now @POTUS shares about faith and hope. Thank God for real leadership!” he remarked.
Brian Babin, born in Port Arthur, Texas, in 1948, currently resides in Woodville. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Lamar University in 1973 and has served as a U.S. Congressman for nearly a decade.
