Brian Babin, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 36th district since 2015, has been vocal on social media regarding current political and economic issues. Babin, who succeeded Steve Stockman in Congress, often shares his perspectives on national matters.

On March 14, 2025, Babin expressed his concerns about the actions of House Democrats in a tweet. He stated that “House Democrats are playing games with America’s future.” According to him, they would “rather shut down the government than put the needs of the American people first.”

In another post dated March 15, 2025, Babin highlighted changes in gas prices over recent years. He noted that “Average Texas Gas Price:” had decreased from $3.04 one year ago and $4.70 in June 2022 to $2.66 currently. He attributed this change to former President Donald Trump.

Later on March 15, Babin criticized judicial authority in a tweet stating that “This is absurd! Unelected, power-hungry judges should NOT have the ability to override the President of the United States.
