Brian Babin, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 36th district, shared a series of tweets discussing various subjects ranging from military recognition to political commentary.

On April 14, 2025, Babin commemorated the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s anniversary. In his tweet, he mentioned, “Happy Birthday to the U.S. Air Force Reserve! For 77 years, you’ve stood ready to answer the call—defending our skies and supporting missions around the world. Thank you for your unwavering service and sacrifice.”

In another tweet later that day, Babin noted a change in presidential recognition of certain days. He remarked, “Last year, Biden marked Easter Sunday as the ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’ This year, @POTUS is honoring Holy Week with prayer, worship, and reverence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. America is returning to its roots, one nation under God.”

The following day, Babin expressed his views on institutional taxation, specifically targeting Harvard University. He wrote, “Absolutely right. If Harvard wants to act like a political machine, it should be taxed like one. Tax-exempt status is a privilege, NOT a shield for radical agendas.”

Brian Babin has maintained his seat in the U.S. Congress since 2015, representing Texas’s 36th district after replacing former Congress member Steve Stockman. Babin was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and completed his studies at Lamar University.
