Brian Babin, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 36th district since 2015, has recently shared his views on several significant issues through social media. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, in 1948 and residing in Woodville, Babin graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973.

On November 21, 2024, Babin expressed agreement with Rep. Chip Roy regarding the International Criminal Court’s actions against Prime Minister Netanyahu. He emphasized the need for consequences and urged the Senate to pass H.R. 8282 immediately. “I could not agree more with @RepChipRoy.”

On November 22, Babin addressed concerns about censorship by large technology companies. Quoting FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr’s letter to tech CEOs demanding information about their censorship activities, he noted that Americans are tired of being silenced by “Big Brother Tech.” “…FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr wrote to the CEOs at the four largest tech companies…demanding information about the censorship activities.”

Later that day, Babin discussed America’s position in space exploration amid competition with China. He stressed the importance of maintaining America’s leadership as a spacefaring nation to ensure strategic advantage globally and shared insights from a discussion with Amanda Head on this matter. “Make no mistake about it, we are in a space race with Communist China.”
