Brian Babin, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 36th district, recently shared insights and updates on his social media platform. He replaced Steve Stockman in Congress in 2015 and has been an active member since then.
On March 25, 2025, Babin expressed his appreciation for the Airmen at Ellington Field JRB and the 147th Attack Wing. In his tweet, he stated: “Always an honor to visit Ellington Field JRB and the 147th Attack Wing to see firsthand the dedication of our incredible Airmen. Their expertise and commitment to our national security are unmatched. Grateful for their service and proud to support them! “
Later that day, Babin congratulated Michael Kratsios on his new role as Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House. Babin noted: “Congratulations to @MKratsios47 on your confirmation as the new Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the @WhiteHouse! I look forward to collaborating with you and the administration to strengthen America’s leadership in science and technology.”
In another tweet from March 25, Babin addressed President Trump’s stance on birthright citizenship by mentioning his legislative efforts: “President Trump is exactly right! That’s why I introduced my Birthright Citizenship Act, to codify his executive order into law, end this outdated loophole, and protect the blessings of liberty for generations to come.”
