On March 16, 2025, Babin expressed approval of efforts by former House colleague Lee Zeldin to prevent substantial financial allocations to certain environmental groups. “Glad to see my former House colleague, @Epaleezeldin, protecting taxpayers by stopping the last-minute funneling of BILLIONS to radical Democrat environmental groups.”
Later that day, Babin criticized Judge Boasberg for halting the deportation of members of the Tren de Aragua gang.
