Rep. Ed Case, U.S. Congressman representing Hawaii’s 1st district since 2019, shared a series of updates on his official Twitter account in mid-September 2025 covering constituent engagement, legislative initiatives, and recent events.
On September 15, Case posted about hosting several groups from Hawaii at Capitol Hill. The following day, on September 16, Case highlighted his ongoing efforts to address campaign finance reform by supporting an amendment related to Citizens United. Case has represented Hawaii’s 1st Congressional District since succeeding Colleen Hanabusa in 2019 and previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives between 1994 and 2002. Born in Hilo in 1952 and currently residing in Kāneʻohe at age 70, he holds degrees from Williams College (BA) and UC Hastings (JD).
