Rep. Ed Case, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Hawaii’s 1st district since 2019, has recently shared his thoughts and initiatives through a series of tweets. Born in Hilo, Hawaii, in 1952, Case has a long-standing career in public service and currently resides in Kāneʻohe.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Case emphasized the importance of advancing “the everyday basics” amidst “current confusion and chaos.” He mentioned his meeting with Brandon Wolff, International Longshore and Warehouse (ILWU) International Vice President for Hawaiʻi, who represents approximately 20,000 individuals in Hawaii. “We must continue to advance the everyday basics even as we deal with the current confusion and chaos.”

In another tweet on February 8, 2025, Rep. Case invited constituents to join his Tele-Talk Story session scheduled for February 10th at noon Hawaiʻi time. The session aims to address issues related to “the confusion and chaos of Trump 2.0,” providing further details through an e-newsletter. “Join my short-notice Tele-Talk Story this Monday, February 10th, at noon Hawaiʻi time.”

On February 9, 2025, Rep. Case reflected on historical lessons during a visit to the Lincoln Memorial steps while spending a weekend in Washington D.C.
