Rep. Ed Case, U.S. Congressman representing Hawaii’s 1st district since 2019, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative achievements and express opinions on national issues.
On January 23, 2026, Rep. Case wrote, “I concluded another successful Appropriations Committee year with full House passage of the last four of our twelve annual federal government funding bills, including my requests for major continued federal support in areas key to Hawai’i like defense, health, education,” emphasizing the importance of these sectors for his constituency.
Two days later, on January 25, 2026, he commented on ongoing events outside his home state: “What’s happening in Minnesota and elsewhere is straight out wrong legally and morally and must stop with full accountability. We need to enforce our immigration laws, but we cannot do so by surrendering our values.”
