Case, who has represented Hawaii’s 1st district in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Colleen Hanabusa, has a long history in public service, including prior tenure in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002. Born in Hilo in 1952 and currently residing in Kāneʻohe, Case is a graduate of Williams College and holds a law degree from the University of California, Hastings.
