U.S. Representative Ed Case, who has represented Hawaii’s 1st district in Congress since 2019, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account addressing local and national events.
On October 16, 2025, Case shared an update with constituents through his e-newsletter. The following day, October 17, he marked Hispanic Heritage Month by participating in a community event. On October 19, Case commented on a protest held at the Hawaii State Capitol. Ed Case was born in Hilo, Hawaii in 1952 and currently resides in Kāneʻohe. He earned his undergraduate degree from Williams College in 1975 and completed his law degree at the University of California, Hastings in 1981. Before joining Congress in 2019—succeeding Colleen Hanabusa—he served in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002.
