Janis Holt, a Republican elected in 2025 to the Texas State House representing the 18th district, has recently shared several posts on her Twitter account commenting on state political matters.

On August 17, 2025, Holt posted: “100% correct. https://t.co/cDMBUeOa4a”.

Two days later, on August 19, 2025, she commented on an incident involving a Democratic colleague: “Just like the rest of her democrat colleagues, she could have left with a DPS Officer. She chose this. This is grandstanding. https://t.co/wGv6oNn9jr”.

Later that same day, Holt posted another brief statement: “This!! https://t.co/QPJCfZY8Zg”.

Holt assumed office after winning the seat previously held by Ernest Bailes in Texas’s 18th House district in 2025.
