Janis Holt, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2025 representing the state’s 18th House district, posted several messages on her X (formerly Twitter) account between May 7 and May 9, 2026.

On May 7, Holt expressed gratitude toward Texas Governor Greg Abbott by posting “Thank you, Gov. Abbott.”

Two days later, on May 9, she shared another message reading “100% “.

Shortly after that post on the same day, Holt marked an anniversary of her presence on the social media platform with “Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary”

Holt succeeded Ernest Bailes as state representative for Texas’s 18th House district following her election in 2025.
