Jodey Arrington, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 19th district since 2017, has recently shared his perspectives on several key issues via social media. Arrington, who was born in Plainview, Texas in 1972 and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1994, expressed concerns regarding fiscal policies and national security.

On May 13, 2025, Arrington addressed the financial challenges faced by farmers and the nation’s fiscal health. He stated: “As someone concerned about both the high cost of farming and the unsustainable fiscal trajectory of our country, I have long called for Republicans to use budget reconciliation to advance Farm Bill reforms that will strengthen rural America while restoring the fiscal health of”.

The following day, May 14, 2025, Arrington criticized President Biden’s leadership in terms of national security. He commented: “The Democrats covered for our biggest national security threat – a frail and feckless President Biden whose incompetence and incapacity emboldened our adversaries and weakened our credibility on the world stage. The CCP admitted they straight up ignored him.”

On May 15, 2025, Arrington highlighted legislative efforts undertaken by himself and his Republican colleagues on the Ways and Means Committee. He noted: “My Republican colleagues and I on @WaysandMeansGOP took a critical step in delivering on President Trump’s America First agenda by extending pro-growth tax cuts and relief for working families and small businesses in West Texas. Included in the bill are priorities I led which cut”.

Jodey Arrington currently resides in Lubbock and continues to focus on advancing policies that he believes will benefit his constituents in Texas’ 19th district.
