Representative Jodey Arrington, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Texas’ 19th District, recently took to social media to communicate significant developments concerning Texas and national governance issues. Arrington, who replaced Randy Neugebauer in 2017, has been an active voice in various state and national matters.

On April 29, 2025, Arrington shared a major update from government officials about international water agreements. “HUGE update from @SecRollins and @DeputySecState! Mexico finally agreed to immediately release required water deliveries the Mexican Government has been withholding from Texas for years.” He expressed his pride in having previously raised concerns with Representative Monica De La Cruz about Mexico’s non-compliance.

In addition, on April 30, 2025, Arrington commented on the actions of President Trump regarding national order. He expressed support for the President’s measures by stating: “President Trump is restoring law and order. This is what We the People voted for.” Arrington, an alumnus of Texas Tech University, was born in Plainview, Texas in 1972 and currently resides in Lubbock.
