On February 4, 2025, Rep. Ed Case posted about his meeting with the State Senate and House Democratic and Republican caucuses before returning to Washington D.C. He stated: “Before redeyeing back to DC, I met with the State Senate and House Democratic and Republican caucuses to discuss the current and projected impacts of the new Administration on Hawai’i, especially state finances and services.”

The following day, February 5, 2025, Rep. Case expressed his honor in welcoming Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka of Fiji to his office. He mentioned: “I was honored to welcome Prime Minister of Fiji Sitiveni Rabuka to my office to discuss a range of issues involving U.S. relations with Fiji and our Pacific Islands ‘ohana.” Additionally, he extended an invitation for the Prime Minister to visit Hawaii.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Case highlighted the importance of assisting international communities with mutual challenges such as democratic advancement and economic development. He tweeted: “Assisting our international ‘ohana with our mutual challenges like democratic advancement, economic development, health care and natural resources protection is not only in our two-an-a-half-century DNA…”
