On March 22, 2025, Rep. Ed Case marked Women’s History Month by honoring notable women from Hawaii who have contributed significantly to societal progress. He highlighted Emma Metcalf Beckley Nakuina and Wilhemina Kekelaokalaninui Widemann Dowsett for their roles in forming the National Women’s Equal Suffrage Association. “This Women’s History Month, remembering the women of Hawai’i who led the difficult advances of their times that we take for granted today, like Emma Metcalf Beckley Nakuina and Wilhemina Kekelaokalaninui Widemann Dowsett, who formed the National Women’s Equal Suffrage Association”.
On March 24, 2025, Rep. Case addressed environmental issues concerning ocean conservation. He emphasized the importance of human responsibility towards ocean preservation regardless of political timelines. “Our oceans don’t care much about election cycles; they just need increased help from their top adversary; us.”
A day later, on March 25, 2025, Rep. Case reported from Washington D.C., expressing concern over lapses in security protocols among senior administration officials. He questioned their awareness and seriousness regarding these breaches. “A quick report from DC on the shocking lapses in standard security protocols by our most senior administration officials. What were they possibly thinking? They didn’t know, they didn’t care?”
