Rep. Jodey Arrington, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 19th district, has recently shared his views on social media regarding significant national issues. Arrington, who succeeded Randy Neugebauer in 2017 and is a graduate of Texas Tech University, addressed topics ranging from tax legislation to immigration policies and expressed gratitude towards former President Donald Trump.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Jodey Arrington highlighted concerns about the potential expiration of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act this year. He stated that if Congress does not act to extend these low tax rates, it would result in "an immediate $5,000 tax hike on working families." Arrington suggested that his Democratic colleagues are in favor of letting these rates expire. "The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is set to expire this year unless Congress takes action."

Later that day, Arrington commented on actions taken by both the federal government and the State of Texas concerning border security. He remarked on a lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice against Texas for its measures to secure the southern border and criticized recent Executive Orders signed by the President declaring a national emergency. "THEN - The Department of Justice sues the State of Texas for taking action to secure the southern border..."

On January 22, 2025, Arrington publicly thanked former President Donald Trump via social media. He expressed appreciation on behalf of "the God-fearing, freedom-loving people of West Texas." "Thank you, @realDonaldTrump on behalf of the God-fearing, freedom-loving people of West Texas!"
