Brian Babin, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas' 36th district since 2015, recently shared several updates on social media regarding his activities and viewpoints. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, in 1948, Babin has been active in political and community matters.

On January 24, 2025, Babin expressed his appreciation for the Houston Police Department's officers he met during the week. He highlighted their service with the Clear Lake Patrol and Mounted Patrol divisions and noted their recent deployment to Washington D.C. for the Inauguration. "Great to visit with several of @houstonpolice’s finest officers this week! They serve with the Clear Lake Patrol and Mounted Patrol divisions and were recently deployed to DC to work the Inauguration."

Later that day, Babin commented on an event occurring in Washington D.C., where thousands gathered to celebrate life. He referenced biblical teachings about human creation and extended blessings upon the nation. "Today, thousands are gathering in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the gift of life. I pray that our country always remembers what the Bible teaches - that we are all made in the image of our Creator. God Bless!"

In another post from January 24, Babin proudly announced receiving an A+ Pro-life Scorecard from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA Pro-Life). He reaffirmed his commitment to protecting life through this recognition."I’m proud to have earned an A+ Pro-life Scorecard from @sbaprolife. I will always protect and defend the sanctity of life!"
