Rep. Ed Case, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Hawaii's 1st district, recently shared updates on his community engagement activities and visits within his constituency through a series of tweets. On February 2, 2025, Rep. Ed Case tweeted about concluding a series of six in-person community meetings across various locations in his district. He stated: "I wrapped my six in-person talk story community meetings across my district, from East Honolulu through Central Honolulu and Aiea/Pearl City to Mililani, Waipahu and Ewa/Kapolei… (1/2)".
In a follow-up tweet posted on the same day, he expressed gratitude towards his constituents for their participation: "…Mahalo to the hundreds of my constituents who joined to share your questions and concerns for our country and Hawaiʻi. As I return to a very difficult Congress, I feel well grounded in your guidance. (2/2)".
The following day, February 3, 2025, Rep. Case highlighted his visit to Hawaii’s Plantation Village in Waipahu during its Lunar New Year celebration. He commended the efforts of those involved in organizing the event: "Hawaii’s Plantation Village in Waipahu (“The Outdoor Museum of Hawaii’s Cultural History”) is always so fascinating and inspiring. Mahalo to Exec Director Greg Mark and your dedicated volunteers for hosting me at your Lunar New Year celebration."
