Brian Babin shares thoughts on personal loss and international issues

Brian Babin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 36th district since 2015, has recently shared several statements on social media addressing both personal and political matters.

On December 9, 2024, Babin expressed his condolences for a friend in a tweet: "I’m praying for my friend @michaelcburgess and his family during this tragic time of unimaginable heartbreak."

The following day, on December 10, 2024, Babin turned his attention to international affairs. He tweeted about the importance of South Korea maintaining its democratic values: "The world needs a freedom-loving South Korea. To see this prosperous nation fall to communism would be disastrous for all nations that value democracy."

Later on the same day, Babin commented on legal proceedings involving Alvin Bragg and Daniel Penny. He stated: "Alvin Bragg failed in his persecution of Daniel Penny just like he failed in his unfair persecution of Donald Trump. Glad to see justice prevail!"
