Rep. Jodey Arrington, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 19th district, recently shared a series of statements on economic and defense issues via social media. Arrington has been an active member of Congress since replacing Randy Neugebauer in 2017.

On December 12, 2024, Arrington highlighted the need for economic growth through fiscal restraint by stating "ICYMI: Unleash economic growth by reining in Washington spending".

In another post from the same day, he attributed the current economic difficulties to recent deficit spending, emphasizing that "The American people’s current economic pain is a direct consequence of the $8.3 trillion in Democratic deficit spending in just the last four years. On December 13, 2024, Arrington addressed national defense funding issues amid global instability. He affirmed that "At a time when the world is more dangerous and U.S. military funding is dwindling, this defense bill provides our troops with the resources they need to be safe and successful in the first and most important job of our government." He noted that this year's National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) aims to eliminate radical elements within its framework.
