On February 11, 2025, Babin voiced his support for President Biden and Elon Musk in their efforts to address inefficiencies within USAID. He stated: "I FULLY support @POTUS and @elonmusk in their crackdown on the waste, fraud, and abuse running rampant at USAID." He emphasized that American taxpayers deserve better management of their contributions.
Later that day, Babin criticized FEMA's allocation of funds. In a post made at 16:02 UTC, he wrote: ".@FEMA supposedly had no money when Americans in Maui, East Palestine, and Western North Carolina needed help. YET they had $1 BILLION for illegal aliens?" He described this as "outright BETRAYAL."
In another tweet posted at 16:49 UTC on the same day, Babin discussed immigration policy concerning birthright citizenship. He argued against its exploitation by stating: "No way in heck did our Founding Fathers... intend for illegal immigrants to sneak across our borders or for birth tourists to exploit the 14th Amendment."
