On April 8, 2025, Brian Babin shared his support for American coal, indicating that President Biden's executive order to unleash affordable, reliable, clean energy was a smart move. According to Babin, innovative coal technology would strengthen the power grid and contribute to cleaner air domestically and internationally.

The following day, Babin critiqued the repercussions of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate on military careers. On April 9, 2025, he stated that the mandate, linked to President Biden, had negatively impacted thousands of military heroes. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, in 1948, Babin has a longstanding history in his home state and resides in Woodville. He graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973.
