Brian Babin, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 36th district since 2015, recently shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets. Babin, who succeeded Steve Stockman in Congress and resides in Woodville, Texas, has been vocal about matters concerning national security and space exploration.

On January 29, 2025, Babin expressed gratitude towards former President Trump and Tom Homan for their efforts to address the presence of violent criminal aliens in the United States. He questioned the rationale behind allowing such individuals to remain in the country, stating: "Why would we ever let violent criminal aliens stay here and endanger the lives of Americans unnecessarily? Thank you, President Trump, and Tom Homan, for finally putting a stop to the madness!"

Later that day, Babin announced the enactment of new legislation aimed at protecting American citizens. He referred to this development as a significant step towards enhancing community safety. In his tweet he remarked: "The Laken Riley Act is now law! A great day for protecting Americans. Thank you, @POTUS, for prioritizing the safety of our communities over dangerous illegal alien criminals!"

In another tweet on January 29th, Babin looked forward to collaborating with Vice President JD Vance on advancing America's space program. His message read: "I look forward to working with Vice President JD Vance to make our space program great again!"
