On March 14, 2025, Babin expressed his concerns about the actions of House Democrats in a tweet. He stated that "House Democrats are playing games with America’s future." According to him, they would "rather shut down the government than put the needs of the American people first."
In another post dated March 15, 2025, Babin highlighted changes in gas prices over recent years. He noted that "Average Texas Gas Price:" had decreased from $3.04 one year ago and $4.70 in June 2022 to $2.66 currently. He attributed this change to former President Donald Trump.
Later on March 15, Babin criticized judicial authority in a tweet stating that "This is absurd! Unelected, power-hungry judges should NOT have the ability to override the President of the United States."
