Jodey Arrington, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas’ 19th District, has made recent remarks on agriculture and education through a series of social media posts. Born in Plainview, Texas, in 1972, Arrington is a Texas Tech University graduate and has been in Congress since 2017, succeeding Randy Neugebauer.

On April 16, 2025, Arrington tweeted about the educational and research prowess of Texas Tech, stating, "Nobody does ag education and research like Texas Tech."

Later the same day, Arrington expressed his enthusiasm about a visit from the Secretary of Agriculture to West Texas. He wrote, "I am excited to welcome my dear friend and Secretary of Agriculture @SecRollins to West Texas to meet with our farmers and ranchers, listen to their challenges and concerns, and highlight President Trump’s commitment to a vibrant rural America and the most competitive."

Arrington concluded the day's series of tweets with a reflection on discussions held with local agricultural professionals. He stated, "Great discussion with local producers and commodity groups to talk about the challenges facing the West Texas ag industry in recent years. @SecRollins and President Trump are laser-focused on supporting American agriculture and ushering in the new Golden Age of America." Arrington, who was born in Plainview, Texas, and has been representing the district since 2017, highlighted on social media his engagement with issues important to his constituents.
