Representative Ed Case, currently serving the U.S. Congress for Hawaii's 1st district, has been actively engaging with international defense partnerships and addressing domestic social security issues, as evident in his recent series of tweets.

On April 14, 2025, Case shared news of his visit to the Philippines with colleagues from Defense Appropriations, stating the aim to remain aligned with key partners. He mentioned high-profile engagements with the Secretary of Defense and the Commandant of the Coast Guard, as well as the participation of U.S. diplomatic and military teams: "Mabuhay! Three days back in the Philippines with my Defense Appropriations colleagues to stay aligned with our partners including the Secretary of Defense and Commandant of the Coast Guard, along with our own great diplomatic and military teams including joining a U.S Navy P-8."

Continuing his defense and diplomatic trip, Case tweeted on April 16, 2025, about his visit to Guam. He reviewed defense strategies and engaged with civilian leadership, including a meeting with Governor Leon Guerrero. A notable highlight for him was connecting with constituents serving in the military: "Hafa Adai! Continued my Appropriations Defense Asia-Pacific swing on Guam reviewing our critical defense posture and meeting with civilian partners including Governor Leon Guerrero.  Favorite tho as always was finding constituents doing great things: Marine Lance Corporal."
