Brian Babin, currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas’ 36th district, shared a series of tweets reflecting on themes of faith, national security, and constitutional rights. Babin, who took office in 2015 succeeding Steve Stockman, underscored diverse issues through his social media engagement.

On April 13, Babin reflected on the Christian observance of Palm Sunday with a tweet that stated: "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! On this Palm Sunday, we remember Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, knowing His greatest sacrifice was yet to come."

The next day, April 14, he addressed immigration and national security in a tweet, expressing strong criticism of President Biden's immigration policies, saying, "Raping a child. Beheading photos. Gang violence. These monsters never should’ve set foot on American soil — but Biden opened the door. Trump is slamming it shut and doing what every one of our leaders should be doing: protecting Americans."

Also on April 14, Babin supported Second Amendment rights in a tweet endorsing Representative Richard Hudson's initiative to enhance gun owners' rights, stating, "Proud to support @RepRichHudson’s effort to restore the rights of law-abiding gun owners in all 50 states. The Second Amendment doesn’t stop at state lines — your Constitutional rights travel with you."

Brian Babin, aged 75, was born in Port Arthur, Texas in 1948, and currently lives in Woodville. He graduated from Lamar University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
