Representative Ed Case, currently serving Hawaii's 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates through social media. Case, who has been in office since 2019 after succeeding Colleen Hanabusa, discussed various events and opportunities in his recent tweets.

On November 18, 2024, Rep. Ed Case reflected on a significant visit to Arlington National Cemetery. In this post, he stated: "(2/2) were last Friday at Arlington National Cemetery. Angie came with her friends Espie Badua of St. Louis Hts. and Meri Imelda Ulangca of Kalihi. I provided a Congressional certificate recognizing Col. Hight's service, and welcomed Angie, Bryan, Espie and Meri to Capitol Hill." This event was part of honoring military service and included presenting a Congressional certificate for Colonel Hight.

On November 20, 2024, Rep. Ed Case highlighted preparedness activities for public and private entities in another tweet: "(1/2) preparedness activities among public and private entities. Register/info here: https://t.co/SsNXJcI178". He shared information about registration for these initiatives.

Also on November 20, Rep. Ed Case posted information specifically targeted at Hawai'i non-profits regarding an upcoming webinar hosted by the U.S Department of Homeland Security: "For Hawai’i non-profits: U.S. Dept of Homeland Security webinar tomorrow, Nov. 21, 10am HI time on applying for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which provides federal funding support for physical security enhancements and activities and for coordination in emergency (1/2) https://t.co/xkw6cj2kmX". This program offers federal funding aimed at improving physical security measures.
